Free Duplicate Text Remover & Analyzer
Clean your text by removing duplicates and analyzing content
Up to 1,500 words on the free plan
Three steps, about a minute
Paste your text
A list, a paragraph, or a column copied out of a spreadsheet. Blank lines are ignored.
Set the matching rules
Decide whether case, punctuation and partial words should count as a difference before you run it.
Check, then copy
Highlighted duplicates show you what will go. Copy the cleaned text once it looks right.
Deduplication you can actually check
- Four matching rules. Case sensitivity, punctuation, whole-word matching and highlighting, each switched on or off.
- See it before you lose it. Duplicates are highlighted in place, so nothing disappears without your say-so.
- Punctuation optional. Treat “Delhi,” and “Delhi” as the same entry, or keep them apart.
- Nothing leaves the tab. The text is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
About this tool
What do the four matching options do?
Case sensitive decides whether Delhi and delhi are the same entry. Ignore punctuation strips commas and full stops before comparing. Match whole words only stops partial matches inside longer words. Highlight duplicates marks them in place instead of removing them silently.
Does it keep my original order?
Yes. The first occurrence of each item stays where you put it and later repeats are dropped. Nothing is re-sorted.
What is the 1,500 word limit?
The free version processes up to 1,500 words at a time. Longer documents are best run in sections, or on Pro, which raises the cap.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser tab, which matters when the list is customer names or email addresses.
Can I undo a removal?
The cleaned text appears alongside your original rather than replacing it, so the input is always still there to copy back.
